BIODIVERSITY IMPACT & REPORTING CONSULTANT / ANALYST

We’re looking for two consultants or analysts to help shape the future of biodiversity management! These roles will involve creating and implementing cutting-edge methodologies to evaluate and guide corporate biodiversity strategies. You’ll get the chance to work with diverse data sets with clients from a range of backgrounds, all with the aim of helping them reduce negative impacts on nature.

Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in environmental or social sciences
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in coding language(s) like R or Python
  • Solid understanding of biodiversity assessment tools and relevant environmental policies

Benefits 

  • 34-hour work week (you get Friday afternoons off)
  • You can work fully remotely, or on a hybrid basis using our offices in London or Nottingham
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension and more

£25-35K depending on experience

JUNIOR ANALYST

We’re looking for an innovative and technically astute recent graduate or early careerist to support our growing client base. This candidate will provide a broad range of input to new and ongoing projects across Biodiversify – support and training will be provided!

Responsibilities 

  • Support with the development and implementation of methodologies for impact and dependency analysis across various sectors such as tech, agri-business, apparel etc
  • Conduct data-driven materiality and risk assessments
  • Innovate approaches for assessing biodiversity impacts through supply chains
  • Maintain compliance with environmental frameworks and legislations such as CSRD, SBTN, TNFD and GRI

Qualifications/Criteria

  • Master’s degree in an environmental/social science & Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or 1st)
  • Confidence in coding languages like R or Python, experience with GIS
  • A passion for Biodiversity and a flexible approach to project work
